After a few weeks of ongoing chemical treatments in a room, with no success of eliminating the bed bugs, we decided to find an alternative option.  I had recently read details in a newsletter about a more environmentally friendly option for bed bug treatment, using heat and dry ice, so decided to investigate further.  We met with Heiko, discussed and agreed to give it a trial.  I liked the fact that no chemicals were to be used and that the room could be available for use the following day.  The heat treatment and the freeze treatments were very effective and we have had no problems in the rooms since, Heiko has been very thorough with all his treatments and checked the rooms regularly to see if there are any signs of re-infestation, to date there has been none.
