Vigilance is key in preventing an infestation, it is important to be conscious of your surroundings.Unlike exterminators, ALPECO’s services do not rely on outdated and harming pest control methods, such as routine spraying for bugs.

We then focus our attention on preventative methods such as caulking and sealing any cracks and crevices, to keep bugs out. Finally, we provide regularly scheduled services to inspect and seal off any new entry points, and make targeted pest prevention treatments to the inside and outside of your premises.

Monitoring

Monitoring with our patented Silvalure System.This is a fundamental step in creating a proper Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan.

One popular method to monitor insect pests inside and outside, in hotel rooms, kitchens, orchards and vineyards is pheromone traps. These are a useful tool, but not a stand-alone method. Pheromones are chemicals produced by some species of insects to communicate with members of the same species. Frequently, these are ‘sex pheromones’ which a female produces to attract a mate. These chemical messengers can be commercially produced by synthesizing and blending the appropriate chemicals and then pacing them in sticky traps.

Silvalure System is the market’s most effective, functional and tested glue system. The paper and glue are adapted to the specific type of insect, temperature, durability, UV light, dampness, storage, etc. This all serves to provide you with a perfect product and an environment free of the targeted pest insects while it helps you to preserve the beneficial organisms at the same time. Extensive research and practical tests have resulted in the most effective glues, trap designs sand pheramones for the target insects.

Our Pest Control Training Programme is designed to enable your staff to take responsibility for the environment they work in. Feeling in control of the working environment enhances the experience for both employees and employers. Graduates of our Pest Control Training Programme will be able to deal with all aspects of pest control and hygiene - not only eradication of pests but also effective prevention techniques and regular monitoring to catch potential infestations before they become a problem.

Hygiene is the key to effective pest control, and is something staff need to be reminded of regularly since it is essential that standards are maintained. We have experience in a wide range of industries from bottling plants and food producers to the catering industry, hotels, hospitals and airline catering services.

We offer services on a number of levels. On the one hand, we offer in-depth training programmes that will enable your staff to not only prevent pest problems from arising, but also to recognise early signs of infestations and deal with them appropriately. On the other, we have the expertise to undertake intensive deep-cleans and pest eradication programmes. All our methods are not only tried and tested, but also chemical free, yet totally effective.

Butler Service

The ALPECO “Butler” Service looks after your Pest or Bed Bug Problem from A-Z.

Not everyone has the time or inclination to prepare their property for a bed bug extermination treatment; enter the ALPECO Bed Bug Butler Service, a totally inclusive service, that makes getting rid of bed bugs and other pests in your home or business as trouble-free as possible.

The ALPECO ”Butler” Service provides discreet bed bug extermination. Our vehicles are discreet, and our equipment is carried into your home or building concealed in plastic bags.

The ALPECO team will prepare the interior of your building for treatment. It may well prove unnecessary to remove any items prior to treatment. However, some items may be better treated off site, while others will need to be removed to avoid damage. If removal is necessary we will arrange temporary storage of your belongings. We will care for all your belongings as if they were our own. After treatment has been successfully completed, your belongings are reinstalled.

Our ALPECO ”Butler” Service team can perform as much or as little preparation as you require. Teams typically consist of one or two trained team members plus a supervisor, subject to the time frame and size of the job. Team members are uniformed. All personnel undergo a background check before employment and are trustworthy, competent, and efficient.

We understand that preparing your home or apartment for a bed bug extermination treatment requires intrusion into your personal space and we are respectful of that. If you would prefer to be involved in the process we are happy to have you with us.

Here are just a few of the things that the ALPECO ”Butler” Service can do for you:

Remove the clothing you won’t need during treatment to our off-site facility where it can be stored or treated if necessary.
Disinfect items such as shoes that will remain and then package and seal them in plastic bags.
Empty all drawers as needed and wrap or remove the items.
Plastic shrink-wrap all upholstered pieces and bedding and remove them for treatment.
When we remove items from an infested area, we do so in sealed bags and boxes to prevent contamination of surrounding areas.
We vacuum your carpets to prepare your property for your bed bug extermination appointment.
After the bed bugs have been exterminated we return your items, unpack and replace them as needed.

Home or Hotel Room Preparation

Once you have selected the items that are to be removed, we visually inspect each item for bed bugs. We wipe each item with disinfectant alcohol and encapsulated them in heavy duty clear plastic. With our system, removal of furniture and cloth is not necessary. There are no fumes and no long lasting smell. If we feel that there is not enough room for the bed bug extermination team to operate, we will remove additional items to our facility for treatment and temporary storage at no extra cost.

A list of items that need to be removed will be provided and these will be separately treated. In the case of items that can’t be treated with “Simply Heat” or “Just Freeze”, we will explain other natrual methods to you.
